Our Church
Higher Ground Christian Church is a training and equipping ground for victorious Christian living. In ministry, the saints are trained and equipped to do the works of Jesus Christ anywhere, any place, anytime, for or to anyone. John 14:12-14 and I John 2:6 are our basis for this. In person and character, the new creation, the reality of spoken by the Apostle Paul in the New Testament, is our standard for life. A strong emphasis on Jesus Christ and the person and power of the Holy Spirit is the benchmark of the ministry and the people of Higher Ground.
Our worship style is contemporary and there is a strong emphasis on outreach and missions. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are welcomed in each service, as is ministry to the sick.
Every 4th Sunday after the service is a fellowship meal in which all are welcome.
Children's Ministry is available for ages birth to 11 years on Friday evenings and Sunday mornings.
Youth Ministry is available for ages 12 - 18 on Friday evenings.
Area Cell Groups meet regularly.
Women's Fellowship and Men's Fellowship meet periodically.
